Recently, the author went deep into the front line of the enterprise's production workshop and witnessed the entire production process of excavators from component assembly, precision welding to topcoat spraying. In the workshop, the workers' focused and rigorous operating attitude and strict control over quality vividly interpret the enterprise's production philosophy of "forging high-quality products with ingenuity".

In the assembly process area, the collaborative operation of robotic arms and manual work was orderly. In accordance with standardized procedures, workers accurately docked core components such as the boom, arm, and cab. The tightening of each bolt followed strict torque standards to ensure the stable connection of various components. "Assembly is the foundation, and no detail can be sloppy. Otherwise, it will directly affect the operational stability and service life of the excavator," said the on-site assembly team leader. The workshop has established a component traceability system to record the installation of each batch of components throughout the process, controlling assembly quality from the source.

The welding link is a key guarantee for the structural strength of the excavator. In the welding operation area, many skilled welders held welding torches to perform precision welding at the joints of components. Amid the splashing of dazzling welding sparks, the welds were uniformly formed and full. To ensure welding quality, the enterprise adopted advanced welding testing equipment to conduct non-destructive testing on the welds, eliminating problems such as insufficient welding and missing welding. "We require every weld to be up to standard, and only after passing the inspection can it enter the next process," said the on-site welder, adding that adhering to quality is the basic principle of every front-line worker.

The welded excavator body then entered the topcoat spraying process. In the painting workshop, workers first performed fine grinding, dust removal, and primer spraying on the body. After strict drying treatment, they carried out topcoat spraying. During the spraying process, workers strictly controlled the spraying thickness and uniformity to ensure the consistent color and firm adhesion of the topcoat. According to reports, the enterprise selected high-quality environmentally friendly topcoat, which not only improves the appearance texture of the excavator but also enhances the body's corrosion resistance and wear resistance, adapting to complex and harsh construction environments.

From component assembly to finished product offline, every process embodies the ingenuity and responsibility of front-line workers. The enterprise has always integrated quality control throughout the entire production process.
