The SH520-9 hydraulic excavator is designed to deliver higher efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and enhanced environmental performance. Its potential energy recovery system has been recognized as one of the “Top Ten National Energy-Saving Technologies and Practices” and has obtained 13 authorized patents. This innovation stands out as a leading energy-saving solution in the construction machinery sector, ushering in a new era of eco-friendly operation.

Energy-saving principle of the SH520-9:
During arm descent, hydraulic oil from the large chamber flows into an accumulator, where energy is captured and stored.
When the boom is raised, the stored oil is converted into high-pressure fluid and delivered to the cylinder, enabling efficient reuse of the recovered energy.
In this process, only one main hydraulic pump is required for lifting, with the remaining flow supplemented by the accumulator. In contrast, conventional systems rely on two pumps simultaneously supplying oil to the boom cylinder.
